The Vines

I love gardens! I’ve been fortunate to have been able to visit some of the most beautiful gardens in the world in Europe, the US and South America. Thanks to a colleague of mine, I learned just recently of this “jardin” right in my own backyard. The picturesque landscape features a lake, a bridge, columns, and statues. The 25-acre estate once belonged to the family of Charles and Myrna Adams in the 1980’s. After going back-and-forth between being private and public property, The Vines was finally established as a Gwinnett County park in 1990. A peaceful stroll here on a Sunday afternoon makes for the perfect way to enjoy nature while social distancing. Thanks, Adams family, for your donation of this lovely green space for all to enjoy!
